Request for Assistive Technology Services
Assistive Technology Consultation Services
- Wayne ATRC supports each district's AT Process
- ATRC is available for AT consultation regarding students who fall under both categories (low incidence, high incidence).
- ATRC will conduct AT evaluations for students with low incidence disabilities at the request of the school district.
If the IEP/504 Team has determined that an AT evaluation is required, the Special Education Director or designee of the district shall initiate the process. The IEP/504 Team shall complete the AT Evaluation Request Form signed by the Special Education Director or designee and submit to their AT Resource Center (ATRC/ATTIC). A consultant from one of the AT Resource Centers will contact a member(s) of the student’s team and will schedule the AT Evaluation. Parents shall direct their requests
for an AT Evaluation to the IEP/504 Team.
